English I |
Focus: These courses emphasize elements of literature and composition, vocabulary development, reference skills, and oral presentation skills in preparation for the state End-of-Course test which will count as 20% of the final grade in English I. |

Grade 10 |
English II-CP |
Focus: This course emphasizes creative and analytical development in thinking, reading, writing, and presentation skills in preparation for the state HSAP exam. Students must pass all portions of the HSAP to graduate. |

Grade 11 |
English III-CP |
Focus: This course emphasizes a survey of American literature while reinforcing comparative, analytical and interpretive skills in thinking, reading, writing, and presentation activities. |

Grade 12 |
English IV-CP |
Focus: This course emphasizes a survey of British and world literature while reinforcing the necessary comparative, analytical and interpretive skills needed for college work. |
