Greetings Phoenix Family!

It is with great pleasure and pride that I welcome you to the 2025-2026 school year at Mayo High School for Math, Science, & Technology. As we embark on this new academic journey, we carry forward the spirit of excellence that has defined our school's history, highlighted by our celebration of 30 years of educational excellence.

We are incredibly proud of the Class of 2025, who have set a high standard by earning an impressive $23.5 million in scholarship funding. This achievement reflects the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of our students, staff, and community.

Our goals for this year are ambitious but attainable with our collective effort:

  • 100% Passing End-of-Course Examinations (C or better)
  • 100% On-time Graduation
  • 100% College and Career Readiness
  • 100% Earning at least one SC Seal of Distinction
  • 100% Earning SC HOPE, LIFE, or Palmetto Fellows Scholarships
  • 100% Deeply Involved in Civic, Community, Extracurricular, or Athletic Organizations of Their Choice

Our school motto, "Hard Work Pays Off," continues to drive our actions and aspirations. We believe in fostering a culture of family, trust, honor, respect, and integrity. These values underpin our mission to achieve excellence through a challenging curriculum with high expectations in a safe, positive environment to develop future leaders.

This year's theme, "Mayo. Learn. Lead. Excel." signifies our commitment to surpassing our past successes by continually striving for excellence in all that we do. We will build on our strong foundation and work together to ensure that every student achieves their fullest potential.

As we begin this school year, I encourage all stakeholders—students, parents, teachers, and community members—to actively participate in and support our endeavors. Your involvement has been crucial to our success, and together, we can make this year extraordinary.

In expectation of educational excellence,

Stephania Lenard, Principal
Mayo High School for Math, Science, & Technology
