See You At the Pole

On the morning of Wednesday, September 27, Mayo students, faculty, and staff gathered around the flagpole in front of the school uniting themselves in prayer.  Student members of our First Priority Club took the opportunity to pray for our students and school.  All around the globe, in every time zone, students gathered at their flagpoles, praying for their school, friends, families, churches, and communities.  SYATP is a day committed to global unity in Christ and prayer for their generation.  Thank you to Ruth Taylor, Cole Davis, and Gina Benjamin for assisting with the set up.

STEAM Career Fair

We held our second STEAM Career Fair held on Wednesday, September 27 at Mayo in our new Conference Center.  Kudos to Quanketa Davis, our Career Specialist, for coordinating this event.   It was truly a great event.  The students and businesses had a great time. The business representatives were very complimentary of our students.  The snake and the nail man were hits with the students.

Special thanks and shout out to our Ambassadors for assisting to make the event a success.  Mrs. Davis is already making plans for next year.  AWESOME!
