Ultrasonic Sensor Lab
Here are a couple of pictures from the Ultrasonic Sensor Lab conducted in Mr. Bert Cook's classes.  Basically the students wired up an ultrasonic sensor and created code for it.  The sensor uses sound to 'see'.  It produces an ultrasonic sound that bounces off of objects and returns to the sensor, giving a distance data that can be turned back into an image.  This is very similar to how sonar works on a submarine!
