All-In ACT Workshop
On Monday, February 5 Guidance sponsored an ACT workshop for all the Juniors and was held in the new Conference Center.  It was an intense all-day workshop.  It is our hope that the students will practice the many strategies provided to improve their test scores on the upcoming exam on Tuesday, February 27.

Teacher Cadet Barrier Day
Teacher Cadet Barrier Day
On Tuesday, February 6 our Teacher Cadet class experienced Barrier Day (to help students understand how physical disabilities can impact learning).  The students had a sheet for each teacher to sign indicating that the cadets maintained the disability throughout the entire day.  We appreciate your help ensuring that these Cadets gained an understanding of how physical disabilities impact learning and require certain accommodations.

Some of the disabilities represented on Tuesday were: physical injury, orthopedically impaired, visually impaired, mute, hearing impaired with speaking impairment, and deaf mute.  It was quite a learning experience for the Cadets.  Special thanks to Mrs. Jennifer Blankenship for leading these Teacher Cadets!!

NAHS, Tri-M, SHS, & NFHS Joint Induction
On Tuesday evening, February 6 Mayo will induct several members into four campus organizations:  National Art Honor Society, Tri-M, Spanish Honor Society, and the National French Honor Society.

Special thanks to Mrs. Lyn O'Donnell, Mr. Cole Davis, Mrs. Carla Doke, and Mrs. Lisa Sanders for sponsoring these organizations!
